Mindy, a Terrier mix puppy, spent her Christmas and New Year holidays in the confines of a stainless steel cage at an area animal shelter along with her little sister Morgan.
Shelters fill up quickly and time was up for both of these precious girls as new dogs were waiting to take their place. What a tragedy if their young lives had of ended there, but thankfully Second Chance reached out to provide a foster home and the promise of a bright future for them.
Little Morgan has already been placed in a wonderful home. Mindy is adjusting fine without her little sis but needs a forever home of her very own too.
Mindy has not reached 4 months of age yet as she still has those sharp puppy teeth that are shed at 4 months. She is a very good puppy and even sleeps all night in her crate with no accidents (and no puppy whining either). She is still growing but expected to stay small to medium in size.
